My work tends to evoke the ideas of the material effect of seemingly “frivolous” objects by way of their emotional cause. The tactile aspect of a medium resonates within a personal bias, which I then aim to convey as a receptive feeling through the use of interdisciplinary methods. A life long infatuation with toy culture and the recent revival of it in a new context is what urged to get involved with the Vinyl Thoughts Art Show! It is truly the sense of expression that derives from bringing something so ethereal as human thought to a level of gratifying solidity, that keeps me committed to art.
